Have we mentioned how much we love SPOOKY SEASON? To celebrate Halloween this month, we have our annual Haunted House and Halloween Photo Day at daycare!
We also have a couple of group training events planned — one group walk followed up with coffee & donuts, and a Gym Class at our Millersville location for indoor practice! All LFL clients are welcome to sign up for our Group Training events, but they are best suited for dogs working at the 100L or higher. If you have any concerns if your dog might not be ready for this kind of event, please ask us before signing up!
Keep reading below for more details on those events.
October 18th Sunday Event | Haunted Hound House
From 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Location: Leash Free Living Millersville
Our annual Haunted House is a challenging but fun obstacle course we construct in our Millersville facility for the dogs! We have so much fun setting it up every year and coming up with spooky new ideas to test your dog’s training skills. Free of charge, and all past & present LFL clients are welcome! Please sign up in the client portal so we know how many plan to come!
October 19th Monday Halloween Photo Day | Millersville Daycare Dogs
October 20th Tuesday Halloween Photo Day | Annapolis Daycare Dogs
Daycare or Dog School Reservation Required
We will take free group Halloween-themed photos of the dogs — costumes are welcomed if you have them! We offer individual or “family” portraits for $20, and a high resolution digital copy will be attached to your dog’s report card. If you’d like an individual picture, just leave a note on your reservation or send us a text or email letting us know and well add it onto your dog’s existing reservation!
October 11th Sunday Event | Training in the Park + Coffee & Donuts
From 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Location: The park outside of Carroll Baldwin Hall in Savage
Join us for Free training in the park outside of Carroll Baldwin Hall in Savage – see the red X on the map below.
If you want to continue training/relax after the group activity, take a trip across the street to the dog-friendly, Brewing Good Coffee Company, (organic & vegan) on Sundays you can also get Donut Run donuts, there, but you may want to order ahead as they do sell out. Please sign up in the client portal so we know how many plan to come!
Saturday, October 24th Event | Millersville Gym Class
From 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Location: Leash Free Living Millersville
Come practice the skills you need to work on with your dog! We will start and end with a group warm up and group stays. We will have several stations set up to practice different skills so you can work individually (with help if needed) on different basic obedience skills with exercises from basic to advanced.
Limit 10 dogs, if you want to bring more than 1 dog per handler, the 2nd dog can be crated so you can crate & rotate & have a chance to work with both of your dogs. Please sign up in the client portal so we know how many plan to come!
