Spring Training Gym Class at Millersville
Sunday, April 19th from 2pm – 3pm
Rain or shine, come to our Millersville facility to work on various basic obedience tasks and add in a few tricks, if you’d like. We will have a warm up heeling circle, then various stations set up for you to work with your dog at their level. We will rotate through the stations & finish with some group work.
This event is ideal for training clients working at the 100L or higher. Limit 10 dogs. Free of charge.
Please only bring one dog per handler; you may also bring multiple dogs and “trade” them out (one will be crated while you work with the other). Sign up in our client portal and we’ll see you there!
Hike & Train at Watkins Regional Park
Sunday, April 26th from 10:30am – 11:30am
Come join us at Watkins Regional Park for a group hike & train. After a quick warm up with our dogs, we will hike the Wetland Trail (1.3 miles). Please wear closed toe shoes & either long pants and/or bug spray as this is a well kept, but natural trail. If you prefer an easier option, warm up with us, then enjoy the many easy paved paths in the park, then meet up with us at the end.
Located at 301 Watkins Park Dr, Upper Marlboro. Follow the signs in park to the parking lot by the Nature Center (way in the back past the snack bar, mini golf, carousel, etc)
Limit 10 dogs, 1 dog per handler, free event. Please sign up in our client portal.

April 12th Annual Tulip Festival — Several LFL staff are meeting up at the Annual Tulip Festival at Montpelier Farms in Upper Marlboro at 10 am. There are all kinds of attractions & we plan to take lots of tulip-y dog photos! You do not have to sign up for this one, but if you want to meet up with us, please text so we can arrange a meeting site (833-590-3041). FYI – Early Bird Pricing ends 4/1 at 11:59pm
April 18th & 19th Cherry Blossom Cluster Dog Show — Many LFL staff & their dogs are competing both Sat and Sun at the Cherry Blossom Cluster Dog Show at the Timonium Fair grounds. If you have ever wanted to know what a dog competition is like this is a great one to visit — please note only dogs who are entered to compete may be on the grounds. As the dates get closer we will update our Facebook Group with specific times & events where our staff and students are competing!

**Level Up Club Drop-In Class — Tuesdays at 7pm** – Advanced students only, see portal for details.

We highly recommend your dog to be fully vaccinated. We currently require all dogs to have their Distemper, Rabies, and Bordetella to participate in our classes and events.
