June 2026 LFL Events

Happy Pride Month!

We have some fun activities scheduled for June! You can sign up for everything through your client portal.

Keep reading for all the details!

Lavender Festival at Star Bright Farm

Saturday, June 13th from 11:00am – 1:00pm.

A day of food, music and fun – bring the whole family for a beautiful time on the farm! The lavender will be in abundance, they will have fresh bunches and lavender products for sale in our Barn Market. There are tractor rides, and mowed paths to walk around the farm, food trucks, live music, beer & wine from a local brewer & local vineyard – and, of course, some dog training!

YOU MUST BUY YOUR TICKETS ($15) ONLINE – THEY WILL LIKELY SELL OUT, SO DON’T WAIT: https://www.starbright-farm.com/

Please also sign up through your LFL account, so we can be in touch about where to meet up & we don’t miss anyone once we are there.

For our training, the limit is 10 dogs & 1 dog per handler, but the farm has no limits. We will be working on tolerance to distractions & holding stays in close proximity to other dogs/people. We’ll also be sure to get some photos in the lavender fields!

The training session will be about 30 mins & then we will walk around together or separately to enjoy the festival. Sign up in our client portal and we’ll see you there!

Tie-Dye Pawty

Saturday, June 27th from 3:00pm – 5:00pm at our Millersville location.

Back by popular demand – LFL’s annual Tie Dye Party!

We will split the event into two sessions to avoid overcrowding. Session 1 will be 3:00pm – 4:00pm, and Session 2 will be 4:00pm – 5:00pm. When you sign up in the client portal, please choose which session you prefer to attend.
If you have more than one dog per handler, one may be crated when you are working with the other, but please sign up all dogs coming.

T-shirts will be $18-20 each (payable the day of) & all other supplies are provided. Bring your dog for practice in patience (holding place & stays) while we have fun creating our shirts!

You can sign up here in our client portal.

Lab Rescue DogWalk & FunFest

Saturday, June 20th from 10:00am – 5:00pm.

Come out to support a wonderful Lab Rescue organization at their annual fundraiser Dog Walk & Fun Fest at Quiet Waters Park!

No sign up is required, but you can stop by the LFL booth to chat & even practice with your dog while in a distracting environment! There are usually Food Trucks, art & dog related vendors, kiddie pools for the doggos, K9 demos by local law enforcement & more.

SPECIAL EVENT – Sweets Feast Fundraiser

Please join us Sunday, June 28th from 3:00pm – 6:00pm at our Crab Feast fundraiser dinner for LFL instructor Jayna’s puppy, Sweet Potato!

Sweet Potato was born via emergency C-section very small and underweight, but she was born a fighter and we have fought by her side every step of the way. It was very touch-and-go for her at first and she required round-the-clock care. As time went on, however, it was clear she was not growing normally compared to her littermates and was staying pretty pint-sized.

By the time she was 3 months old, her body starting failing her and she was only 2.8 pounds. Tests confirmed she has a liver shunt and several vets recommended surgery to correct the shunt as her best chance to live a full life. Such complex procedures are very expensive, but Jayna is not ready to give up on her yet!

Now that she is being managed medically, Sweets has reached 6 pounds and is gaining weight she can get her surgery at the end of June. If you’ve met Sweets, you know she’s full of personality and quite the little princess. She loves to play, snuggle, and her current favorite pastime is attacking dandelions!

We will have all-you-can-eat crabs, plus other side dishes, drinks, and unlimited Sweet Potato kisses for $80 — all the proceeds from this event will go towards Sweet Potato’s liver shunt surgery. If the surgery cost is covered, any additional funds would be donated to the Tibetan Spaniel Health and Rescue Trust.

Sweets is a very special girl who deserves a long and health life. We appreciate any and all support.
